Students are required to purchase Counseling by the Book: Revised and Expanded Edition, by Dr. John Babler, Nicolas Ellen and Biblical Crisis Counseling, Not if But When, Dr. John Babler.

Students must attend all five sessions in order to receive a Certificate of Completion for the course.
In addition, students will be involved in discussions of case study material, practical application, role plays, and a Biblical overview of the importance of marriage and family.
